OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A strong cold front moved across the Midwest bringing a rapid cooldown to many states including Nebraska and Iowa as well as strong thunderstorms.
According to the National Weather Service, there was a few severe thunderstorms that came through the area including Mills County, Iowa where hail & damaging winds was reported.
Near quarter-size hail was reported in Malvern, Iowa around 7:40 PM Sunday night. A few miles southwest of Malvern, there was a damaging wind report of 58 mph near Tabor, Iowa.
Rain reports were impressive especially south of I-80 where several inches of rain fell as forecasted…
