CEDAR COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a man from Springfield has drowned in Stockton Lake.
At around 9:03 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, MSHP was alerted to a possible drowning at the Stockton State Park Marina. The body was found floating on the water under the dock, according to the drowning report.

The Cedar County Coroner pronounced the subject, a 67-year-old man from Springfield, dead on scene at approximately 11:41 a.m. The next of kin have been notified of his passing.
