Broken Arrow community reacts to Sunset Amphitheater redesign

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Construction is finally underway on the Broken Arrow Sunset Amphitheater, a million dollar outdoor concert venue set to open next year.

The venue is being developed by Venu which recently unveiled redesigned plans for the project. Company leaders said the updates are aimed at better meeting the needs of the Broken Arrow community and the artists who will perform at the site.

The $107 million project has been in the works since 2023 and promises a state-of-the-art, year-round entertainment venue complete with four large wind walls, radiant heating for colder months, bench seating, and a restaurant and hospitality space capable of hosting up to 350 guests.

In May, the public was able to get a first look at the original design, but recently the City of Broken Arrow and the venue developer Venu unveiled updated renderings that reflected feedback from the community and adjustments to meet local needs.
