HONOLULU (Island News) – Heads up Oahu drivers! Nightly closures of the Halawa and H-3 Fwy off-ramps will begin soon for repaving activities on the Halawa Interchange.
The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) reported that the closures will be of the Halawa and H-3 Fwy off-ramps from the westbound Moanalua Fwy. It will begin on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Work hours will be from Sunday evenings from 8 p.m. through 5:30 a.m. the following day, as well as Monday through Friday evenings from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Drivers will be detoured westbound through the H-99 Stadium/Aiea Exit to access the H-3 Fwy during the ramp closure…
