HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A free propane event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, to support those affected by Hurricane Helene and anyone in need, according to a Haywood County press release.
The county recommends bringing your own propane tank and it’s first-come, first-served. Supplies will also be provided, like blankets, paper products, toiletries and more.
There will also be free coffee, food and breakfast from the Masonic Lodge, according to the press release.
