Birmingham City Council seeking feedback from public to improve animal control in the city

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Birmingham City Council is sharing a survey for the public to provide feedback on what they call “ongoing animal control efforts.”

The city council shared they are planning to hold a town hall meeting to discuss animal control efforts on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. at the A.H. Parker High School Auditorium.

“Stray and uncontrolled animals are an issue that is frequently reported to 311 and the council offices,” wrote Birmingham City Council. “This town hall meeting is a chance for the public to provide feedback about ongoing animal control efforts and potential changes to the city’s code.”…
