CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A partnership between Clarksville Parks and Recreation, artists, and other local organizations has yielded comfortable fruit in Valleybrook Park.
According to Clarksville officials the park is now home to six benches and two tables made from recycled wind turbine blades.
The new park furniture, created by Noblewins, gives the blades from retired wind turbines a second life as durable and functional pieces that keep hundreds of pounds of material out of landfills.
