WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, OH – A 46-year-old woman from Lakeview, Tracie Barber, was arrested on Friday evening after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine in her possession. Barber faces charges of drug possession following the incident, which occurred near Township Road 239 and U.S. Route 33.
Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
Around 5:00 PM, officers from the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol when they stopped Barber’s vehicle for a turn signal violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers noticed several signs of drug use.
