ARDMORE, Ala. (WAFF) – Earlier this year, we introduced you to one little boy who is tough as nails. 9-year-old Ruger of Ardmore is battling stage 5 kidney failure. Ever since his diagnosis, his family has been desperately searching for a kidney donor.
Ruger’s mom, Haley Schrimsher, told WAFF 48 News that thanks to local media coverage just like ours, they have received an influx of potential donor applications.
Now, doctors have found someone who is a medically perfect match for Ruger. A complete stranger, just doing a big act of kindness…
