JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 42-year-old man accused of fatally shooting another man outside a seafood restaurant over the weekend.
According to JSO, Mark Randall Gordon was taken into custody on Monday night, October 6, 2025, and booked into the Duval County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder (dangerous act evincing a depraved mind without premeditation).
The shooting happened on Saturday, October 4, around 9:30 p.m., when District 3 Patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire at a seafood restaurant on Philips Highway near Baymeadows Road. Officers did not locate a victim at the scene, but about an hour later, JSO was notified that 30-year-old Trevian Jackson had arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.
