PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man has died after he fell off a highway overpass in Providence over the weekend.
Rhode Island State Police troopers responded to Route 6 West near the Route 10 South interchange just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday and found a black Kawasaki motorcycle on its side.
The operator, identified as Cedrix Teixeira, 26, of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with critical injuries and later pronounced dead.

According to state police, the motorcycle hit the guardrail as Teixeira tried to turn, causing him to be thrown from the bike and land on the dirt embankment below. The guardrail was reportedly around three feet high, making his total fall between 40 and 50 feet or four stories high…
