Sandia Fire burns 24 acres, forward spread stopped

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A brush fire that burned more than 20 acres along Sandia Creek Road in De Luz Tuesday has been stopped, Cal Fire says.

According to Cal Fire, the Sandia Fire burned 24 acres as of 6:30 p.m. The blaze is now 10 percent contained.

The fire burned in a remote area with difficult access, but Sky 10 did show video of water drops from firefighter aircraft…
