VENICE — The owner of Hyundai of Venice has taken advantage of the demise of a pickleball company to buy land for future expansion.
According to Sarasota County property records, Georgia-based KFHOV LLC, which owns the dealership, bought a nearly 7-acre parcel just north of it for $2.7 million on Sept. 23. The seller, TPC Venice, which had paid $2.8 million for the property in 2023, voluntarily dissolved a week after the sale, Division of Corporation records show.
TPC Venice was a project of The Pickleball Club, a company that said it had raised $180 million for a planned 15 indoor pickleball facilities around the state. The development of the Venice facility was announced in 2022, at the same time the acquisition of land in Fort Myers was announced…
