Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird delivered her seventh State of the City address to about 500 people at the Marriot Cornhusker Hotel Tuesday morning. Gaylor Baird highlighted major gains in affordable housing, workforce development and infrastructure, outlining how City investments are delivering an even better quality of life for residents.
“The state of our city is strong. And while we are proud of our strength, we strive to build on our successes each day as we cultivate the quality-of-life capital of the country,” Gaylor Baird says. She said public safety remains the top priority for City government and Lincoln residents.
