GREELEY, Colo. (KDVR) — Community members serving the homeless in Greeley say new people are showing up on their streets after Loveland closed a temporary shelter.
From tents outside of Loveland City Hall on Monday to people staying outside the Loveland Resource Center Tuesday. Loveland’s city manager authorized the activation of the LRC for a temporary overnight shelter starting Monday night.

“We brought them dinners there and we got them tents and their sleeping bags and we got them all set up and then I learned the reason that there are not as many people that we needed to service,” Loveland resident Linda Breen said.
