ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — An Albany restaurant known for serving up Mexican street food is shutting its doors on October 25. Ama Cocina announced the closure of its downtown restaurant in a social media post on Wednesday.

Officials at Ama Cocina expressed gratitude to its customers and staff for their dedication, passion, and support of the restaurant. From laughs shared over tacos to family celebrations, the restaurant said it is appreciative of the countless memories made over the years.
“Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to meet so many wonderful people, and those friendships and moments are what we will cherish most,” Ama Cocina officials said. “This journey has been nothing short of amazing—and we wouldn’t change a single thing.”
