NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A suspect in a deadly shooting early Saturday at a North Myrtle Beach resort admitted to the killing, according to arrest warrants obtained by News13.
Wofford Brown Webb II, 46, of Bishopville in Lee County, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in the killing of Thomas Geddings, 41, also of Bishopville, who was staying at 2100 N. Ocean Blvd., the address for the Club Wyndham resort in North Myrtle Beach, the coroner’s office said. He died shortly after 1 a.m.
Responding officers knocked on the door and asked Webb, “Who shot him?” to which Webb replied, “I did,” arrest warrants show. Geddings was seen on the ground in a back bedroom with a gunshot wound to his face and a black Shadow Systems 9mm handgun was located on the bed…
