Man Charged With Multiple Armed Robberies

Wilmington Police have taken a suspect into custody in connection with multiple armed robberies that occurred over the summer.

Authorities said that on July 15 at approximately 4:46 p.m. and again on July 19 at approximately 5:25 p.m., officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of East 25th Street for reports of armed robberies. The investigations were assigned to Detective Brendan Wham of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Detective Wham identified 20-year-old Semaj Lloyd as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest police said. On October 4, members of the Wilmington Police Gun Intelligence Unit located Lloyd in the area of East 10th and North Pine Streets, where he was taken into custody without incident…
