BATON ROUGE — Two major drug investigations in East Baton Rouge Parish have resulted in the seizure of more than 1,600 lethal doses of fentanyl, along with large amounts of other narcotics, cash, and firearms, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The separate, multi-agency operations led to nine arrests, with two suspects still at large, and targeted both an accused methamphetamine distributor and a narcotics trafficking network tied to members of the “Spider Nation” rap label, authorities said.
