JACKSON — The Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum Foundation will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to dedicate the Last Pass Memorial Walkway, a tribute to agricultural pilots who lost their lives while performing aerial application flights.
The dedication begins at 6:30 p.m. at the museum, located at 1150 Lakeland Drive, on the grounds of the National Agricultural Aviation Museum. The ceremony coincides with the National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) Board of Directors meeting.
The walkway, constructed with engraved bricks, provides a lasting place of remembrance for pilots who sacrificed their lives in service to the agricultural industry. Museum officials said the memorial ensures their legacy endures for generations…
