City director Lance Hines urges Ken Richardson to resign amidst his year-long absence

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Ken Richardson, the director of Little Rock’s Ward 2, has not attended a city board meeting since May of 2024 due to health concerns. Now, an effort is underway in his ward to recall him from his position.

His colleague, city director Lance Hines, wants the board to call on Richardson to resign.

“But at the end of the day, we’re elected to serve the folks who put us in office, and unfortunately it does not look like Director Richardson has been able to do that,” said Hines in a sit-down interview…
