Student taken into custody at Oswego High after incident

Oswego police on Tuesday arrested a 17-year-old boy from Oswego High School for possession of alcohol by a minor, consumption of alcohol by a minor, and resisting arrest.

The police department says that at about 12:02 p.m., school staff requested help from the police department for an investigation involving a student. Police say the student was disruptive and noncompliant with school staff and the school resource officer.

Additional officers were sent to the school to assist, leading to the student’s arrest. He was released to his parents and referred to the juvenile court system…
