Juvenile on e-bike injured in crash with car in Lafayette

A juvenile was injured and taken to the hospital after a crash involving a vehicle in Lafayette Wednesday morning.

At about 11 a.m., a vehicle driving east on South Boulder Road struck a juvenile male riding an electric bicycle in the street near Angevine Middle School, according to Lafayette Deputy Chief of Police Brian Rosipajla.

The driver and a witness said they believed they had a green light on South Boulder Road and the e-bike rider entered the intersection to cross South Boulder Road at Angevine Way, Rosipajla said…
