EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) has successfully concluded three significant drug-related investigations, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of substantial quantities of illegal substances. The operations were funded by the Community Safety Payroll Tax, aimed at addressing local safety concerns.
In one case, SCU officers arrested 53-year-old Shay Kale Prim on Oct. 6 after a thorough investigation revealed his involvement in drug trafficking. Officers observed Prim conducting suspicious activities, including a short stay visit at a residence on Waite Street. A search warrant led to the discovery of approximately five ounces of methamphetamine, two ounces of fentanyl, a small amount of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, and over $1,500 in cash. Prim faces multiple charges, including unlawful delivery and possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl within 1,000 feet of a school.
Another investigation centered on Amber Marie Bradley, suspected of dealing methamphetamine from her Waite Street residence. A search warrant executed on Sept. 30 uncovered two ounces of methamphetamine, other drugs, and over $300 in cash.
