Albany may seize property near Rapp Road landfill for transfer station

ALBANY — The city is considering using eminent domain to seize three properties near the Rapp Road landfill to build a solid waste transfer station.

The land at 502, 504 and 506 Rapp Road is owned by a family trust and has belonged to the same family for decades.
