BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Shafter Police Department is investigating a stabbing near Mannel Park Tuesday night.
Officers with the Shafter Police Department were dispatched to Mannel Park for the report of a stabbing around 7:44 p.m., according to officials. A man, who was a victim of an assault, was found a few blocks from the park and medical aid was requested for him.
Officers said it is unknown what he was assaulted with. The man was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries…
