Man linked to subway killing had credit cards of a victim of another homicide: Complaint

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The man arrested in connection with the fatal attack of 64-year-old Nicola Tanzi at a subway station in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon was arraigned in court on charges for an incident that happened at the end of September.

David Mazariegos, 25, who was apprehended Tuesday in Times Square, had at least 17 prior arrests, sources tell PIX11 News.

A criminal complaint about the arraignment reveals that Mazariegos was charged during an incident on the evening of Sept. 26.
