Thousands left in the dark in Miami Valley power outage; down to a few hundred

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Many people in the Miami Valley currently do not have electricity.

The AES Ohio Outage Map showed over 3,900 customer households were in the dark on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 11:55 a.m. That number is now down to approximately 300 as of 1:30 p.m.

2 NEWS has reached out to AES for comment. AES said it is in the process of reattaching the primary.
