Less than an hour after graduating from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department’s 10-week, in-house Narcotics Detection Academy at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, the young black Labrador was called to assist the FBI Metro Boston Gang Task Force and Fall River Police on a search warrant in Fall River. By 4:30 p.m., Kilo had already located a trafficking-level quantity of crack cocaine, according to the department.
