Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a woman in connection with a September home invasion robbery in the wine country town. Norma Matamoros, 52, of Hidden Valley Lakes — who is a former house cleaner for the victims — was arrested on Oct. 1 in connection with the Sept. 12 robbery, which is still under active investigation, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said.
Matamoros was brought in for questioning about in the home invasion and robbery and later booked into Sonoma County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office. She is facing charges including elder abuse, vehicle theft, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and kidnapping, the sheriff’s office said. Matamoros is the step-mother of another suspect, Hugo Matamoros, who was previously arrested in connection with this incident and remains in custody, the sheriff’s office said.
