Something Good: Tallahassee kid continues to defy odds, breathes without ventilator for first time

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – For the first time in his life, four-year-old Landry Lassetter took a full breath of air on his own. Nobody saw it coming.

WCTV first caught up with Landry and his mother, Kami, in 2022, as she spent Thanksgiving away from family in an Ohio hospital. Later, WCTV captured the moment he finally returned home to Tallahassee in 2023.
