In-N-Out Burger is expanding its presence in the Portland area with its purchase of a 71,000-square-foot industrial space in Gresham.
The California drive-thru burger chain purchased the 4.63-acre property at 18205-18365 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in a transaction brokered by Cushman & Wakefield, reported the Portland Business Journal. The building, part of a larger industrial and warehouse development named Portland Portal III and completed in 2024, will help In-N-Out serve the region. The chain has sited several locations in the Portland area, but has yet to open on in the metro.
In-N-Out has been expanding slowly near the Portland area and has so far opened two stores, in Keizer and Ridgefield, Washington, within an hour’s drive of the city since 2019.
