COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL ) – Leo DiCesaris, the owner and chef at Cerrone’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, is happiest when he’s in a kitchen. This Italian American chef was born and raised in Columbus. The love and passion for a culinary career in pies started at home with his family.
“Growing up in an Italian family having my father cook it, my grandmothers cook it. And always being around it, it was probably my first love as a child as most of us are,” said DiCesaris.
As he grew up the love for pizza became more than just enjoying a simple meal. Chef Leo wanted to thrive in the art of making pizza…
