DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Police Department said it’s gearing up to come down harder on traffic enforcement.
To accomplish this, the department is expanding the joint traffic initiatives it conducts with the Ohio State Highway Patrol to monitor high-traffic areas such as Interstate 75 or US-35.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, DPD and OSP used additional manpower and even aircraft to catch speeding and reckless drivers on local highways.
