A Jamestown man will spend six years in state prison after being convicted of a felony drug charge stemming from a November 2023 home visit. Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason Schmidt says 29-year-old Donovan Paquette was sentenced Monday by Judge David Foley for 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Paquette’s arrest resulted from a joint operation conducted by the Jamestown Police Department and Chautauqua County Probation Department on the city’s east side that led to the discovery of 104.3 grams of methamphetamine, 23 individual glassine envelopes filled with fentanyl, numerous digital scales, packaging materials, metal knuckles, cash, and two loaded handguns.
