(KRON) — Two people were arrested in connection to a shooting that took place in Berkeley Saturday, according to the Oakland Police Department. On Monday, just after 3:30 p.m., OPD patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1300 block of 64th Avenue.
The driver failed to comply and sped off, driving recklessly, police said.
Oakland PD pursued the vehicle but ended the pursuit due to unsafe conditions, police said. Visual contact was maintained through OPD’s ARGUS helicopter as the vehicle sped through Oakland.
