North Providence police arrest man on firearms charges

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — North Providence police said they arrested a man on firearm charges after a vehicle stop on Wednesday.

According to police, they stopped a vehicle on Mineral Spring Avenue after seeing that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

Police said the driver, 25-year-old Kyle Mumford of Woonsocket, was driving on a suspended license.
