Police in Carlsbad say a San Diego woman has been charged with 10 felony counts of grand theft after allegedly stealing roughly $100,000 in merchandise from the city’s Under Armour outlet store.According to the Carlsbad Police Department, detectives began investigating a string of retail thefts at the store in May 2025. Working with the company’s loss prevention team, officers reviewed surveillance video and evidence linking 65-year-old Yvonne Tran of San Diego to the crimes.Detectives say Tran is suspected of committing more than 40 thefts at the same outlet location, resulting in what they described as “significant financial losses” for the business.On October 1, investigators arrested Tran in San Diego while serving a search warrant at her home.
