Savannah City Council to vote on contract to demolish MLK Jr. Arena at Civic Center

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Savannah is moving forward with demolition plans for the Martin Luther King Jr. arena at the Savannah Civic Center.

At Thursday’s city council meeting, leaders will decide on an initial contract to guide the design and construction phases of the Civic Legacy – Arena Removal Project.
