Connecticut mom accused of poisoning man’s wine with antifreeze granted bond

The woman accused of poisoning the father of her child by pouring antifreeze into his wine had a court appearance on Thursday where she was granted bond.

Officials say Kristen Hogan then headed to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation before she will be put on home confinement with her grandparents in Massachusetts until her next court date.

Hogan, 33, was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of interference with an officer after she admitted to pouring ethylene glycol — a “poisonous ingredient within antifreeze and other household products” — in a bottle of wine from which the man drank, according to an affidavit obtained by ABC News…
