MAUMELLE, Ark. — A Maumelle nurse says she came home from an overnight shift to find her back door kicked in and her dog running loose — only to learn it wasn’t a burglar, but police who had broken into her house by mistake.
Asha Taylor, an oncology nurse, said she immediately feared she had been robbed when she arrived home on the morning of Oct. 6.
“I’d taken a few steps forward and then I realized my door has been ransacked,” Taylor said. “Something has happened in here and I get super nervous, afraid, and I just walked right back out.”
