A man previously arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on West 18th Avenue in March has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Justin Garrett Huser.
Kenneth John Alvord, 37, also faces a first-degree manslaughter charge as part of a secret indictment made public Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Lane County Circuit Court.
Jail records show Alvord was booked Wednesday into Lane County Jail. He previously had been free on a conditional release after being charged back in March with unlawfully using a weapon. Alvord had a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday in that case…
