Hawaiian barbecue is expanding around PDX.
L&L Hawaii recently listed a new location on their website, at 8720 NE Centerpointe Drive, Suite 201 in Vancouver. This is in the retail center across from the city’s Costco Wholesale store. Franchisee Lyle Erickson told What Now Portland he is hoping to open by Jan. 1 of next year.
Erickson has experience with the chain as it was a go-to spot when he was stationed in the military in Hawaii. After retiring from his longtime job as a voltage lineman, he found the opportunity to franchise for the restaurant.
