Marion County, OR – Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office made two late-night arrests this week after separate traffic stops uncovered methamphetamine, a firearm, and active warrants.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the first stop occurred around 10:59 p.m. on October 7, 2025, when a deputy pulled over a white Dodge Ram in Mill City for failing to signal before turning. The driver, Robert Lauer, 38, was allegedly driving with a suspended license and had an active warrant for his arrest.
Deputies reportedly found a bag containing about 3.7 grams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia and a Sig Sauer P365XL handgun hidden under the driver’s seat. Lauer was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail on his warrant and additional drug and firearm charges…
