BIRMINGHAM (Oct. 8, 2025) — Some very special visitors spent some time today with Children’s of Alabama patients.
Spiderman, Batman, Superman, and a new addition this year, Wonder Woman, rappelled down the side of the hospital. Their visit marks the start of the hospital’s Superhero Month. The superheroes were window washers from Sunlight Building Services, LLC, contracted by Hoar Construction, LLC.
Throughout October, Children’s will celebrate heroes of all sizes. This year’s theme is “Heroes Heal Here.” The month-long celebration honors the strength, courage, and resilience of our patients, their families, and staff. Several superhero-themed events are planned, including a superhero glow party.
