New polling shifts support in CA assembly race for Kern County district

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — New polling by David Binder Research shows a fascinating shift in support among the candidates who are attempting to become one of Kern County’s next state assemblymen.

In the poll, front-runner and Bakersfield City Council Member, Andrae Gonzales, maintains 31% support, with emerging competitor Ana Palacio trailing at 15%. Palacio, a registered nurse and patient advocate, announced her candidacy in September.
