COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — As the state considers the possibility of carrying out another execution next month, a local group against the death penalty held a forum tonight featuring voices directly impacted by capital punishment.
At the Benedict College Best Lives Center, the Palmetto Journey of Hope series made its latest stop. Thursday’s forum was one of several hosted by the South Carolinians Against the Death Penalty (SCADP) across the state. The night was filled with pain, reflection, and calls for change.
