A local veteran received a warm gesture on Thursday, J.J. Agnello Heating and Air Conditioning in Erie installed an HVAC system for a family that others in the community said were beyond deserving.
Frederick and Sharon Passamonte, who are currently going through trying times, were touched by this heart-warming donation. Each year, JJ Agnello, a Lennox dealer, participates in a community service initiative to warm the hearts of those in our community. This program is called Feel the Love by Lennox, where they partner with their dealers to bring warmth to deserving people.

Nicolina Cuzzola, who is the office manager at J.J. Agnello, discovered the Passamontes. She found them through a GoFundMe account that a friend of theirs organized. This account was a fundraiser to build a deck for Frederick, who is a veteran and currently battling stage four lung cancer. Cuzzola read his story and thought that he would be the perfect candidate for this year’s Feel the Love donation.
“We do it because it’s a great way to support our community and give back to the community and just spread love and especially this year it’s not just about the equipment but also showing support to the community members and making them feel like they’re not alone and that we’re behind them and supporting them,” she said.

The Passamontes were extremely appreciative of the support that they received from the community. When asked how they felt to be selected, they expressed being overwhelmed with gratitude, “Mind boggling, we never expected it, but what we did find out, that really hit home, is community support. You hear about it, you see about it on TV, but to actually experience it is a whole different thing,” Frederick said…
