A new Dairy Queen is in the plans for East Lansing, with no opening date set.
WITL recently reported Dairy Queen is coming to 1000 Trowbridge Road sometime this year. The was previously a PappaRoti cafe, and now the franchise is moving into the location. The franchiser, Wael Hamade, told What Now Detroit the timeline is opening is unclear as work inside still needs to be done.
When speaking with Hamade, a Michigan local, he said he’s trying to get the fryer on so his team can get closer to opening. In September, construction was happening on the exterior, and it looks like the structure is nearly complete now.
