MEMPHIS, Tenn. — U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi provided an update on the Memphis Safe Task Force’s progress and said there have now been 562 arrests along with 144 illegal weapons seized, according to a social media post Thursday morning.
In a social media post from last Saturday, Bondi said the Safe Task Force made 273 arrests, and 73 illegal guns were confiscated after the first week of their presence in Memphis streets.

“Arrests include multiple gang members, including one wanted for murder, and an illegal alien juvenile arrested with approximately two pounds of methamphetamines,” Bondi announced in the post from Saturday.
